CONGRATS! On Ares winning Best Ensemble, Best Supporting Actor and Best Actor!Personally (and I think I speak for everyone else involved), the highlight of Dramafeste was our performance itself, one that drew to an end when we took our bows to thunderous applause during curtain call. Winning was a bonus. Don’t get me wrong, we went in wanting to sweep all the awards. But above that, was the desire to put up a show every Aresian would enjoy and be proud of. The adrenaline rush and satisfaction from achieving this outweighed whatever fac points we were to end the night with. Performance, art and the Ares spirit should never be about competition.
I'd like to thank the strong cast and dedicated crew I had the opportunity of working with, our faculty teachers, fac heads and fac comm for all their support, as well as ELDDFS for organizing the whole event. THANK YOU.
We'll see you again at Dramafeste'08! (:
