hey ares!

hah it's my first time blogging here. oops. anyway, i'd like to use this entry to thank ALL YOU ARESIANS OUT THERE for contributing to RED ALERT :D heh if you still don't know what that is, it's the pillars full of red spots that are filled with your messages (: it's been taken down already after nearly 2 whole months of air time. yay! the fac comm would like to say that we're very encouraged and motivated by some of the sweet and uplifting comments! thank you!

secondly, i would like to wish all J1 aresians ALL THE BEST for Games Day! jia you jia you..play and cheer with all your might. put in as much as you can to do ares proud, as well as have good fun. your seniors will be mugging with all their might too!

and lastly, and most importantly, keep a lookout for updates on our UPCOMING FAC OUTING. it'll be in april/may..and it's gonna be really reALLY exciting. we'll make it as good as it can be ;) so keep your spirits high! of course, start thinking about your class princes and princesses. haha..

Who's who

The faculty of ares

In Greek mythology, Ares, meaning battle and strife, is the Olympian god of war and son of Zeus and Hera.

Colour: Fiery Red
The colour red represents the fiery spirit and tenacity of Ares. Don't you feel your heart racing and adrenaline pumping when you see a sea of red cheering for their faculty? Not to mention we're the hottest faculty. :)

Mascot: Raging Stallion
When speaking of the stallion, courage and strength comes to mind - just like when speaking of our faculty!
